Textos Completos Autorizados

Extracto: In atypical cases, importantly, clinical healthcare professionals should promptly obtain microbiological culture results. When culture is negative, 16S ribosomal RNA gene polymerase chain reaction (16S rRNA PCR) or mNGS can be considered for identification, with inquiring about the patient's disease history, including any contact with rodents. Surgical interventions, such as arthroscopy, may be included in treatment. Extracto: Persons living with dementia constituted a substantial proportion of all missing persons case reports submitted to the Swedish Police during the study period. Persons living with dementia were also at considerable risk of harm when missing, as even minor injuries can lead to substantial consequences. Furthermore, time was a critical factor, emerging as the strongest predictor of harm in the study. This calls for the development of collaborative routines between the police and professional caregivers caring for persons living with dementia.

Extracto: This qualitative study suggests that the utilisation of MC remains inadequately normalised in Germany. Our findings indicate that MC users experience both substantial benefits and persistent challenges, with stigma remaining a key issue. While participants reported improvements in quality of life, barriers such as bureaucratic hurdles and knowledge gaps among healthcare professionals hinder access to appropriate care. The findings underscore the imperative for enhanced education among healthcare professionals.
