Textos Completos Autorizados

Behavioural components and delivery features of early childhood obesity prevention interventions

Fuente:The International Journal of Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity

Tipo de trabajo:Revisión sistemática

Extracto: Our study provides the most comprehensive description of the behaviour change content of complex interventions targeting early childhood obesity prevention available to date. Our analysis revealed that interventions targeted multiple behaviour domains, with significant variation in delivery features. Despite the diverse range of BCTs coded, five BCTs were consistently identified across domains, though certain BCTs were more prevalent in specific domains. These findings can be used to examine effectiveness of components and inform intervention development and evaluation in future trials. TRIAL REGISTRATION: PROSPERO registration no. CRD42020177408.

Social participation challenges and facilitators among Chinese stroke survivors: a qualitative descriptive study.

Social participation challenges and facilitators among Chinese stroke survivors: a qualitative descriptive study.

Fuente:Bmc Public Health

Extracto: Stroke survivors perceived varying degrees of changes in their social participation. Specifically, this study identifies the influence of prevalent cultural values on survivors' participation behaviors, indicating that cultural beliefs and the associated effects on health outcomes should be taken into consideration when developing interventions to enhance social participation after stroke. Potential interventions to empower survivors could aim to improve their stroke-related knowledge, provide psychological encouragement, incorporate skills training to improve communication with family members, and organise peer support groups to augment social support networks.

Fuente:Bmc Surgery

Tipo de trabajo:Revisión

Extracto: This AI assisted SSR in SEBA confirms that surgeons do suffer from the cumulative effects of caring for dying patients and their families and from the death of the patient and supporting the family and members of the interprofessional team and trainees. Without timely and personalized support surgeons are prone to depression, burnout, and substance abuse, and compromises to patient and family experiences, outcomes, safety and satisfaction. The need for effective longitudinal and personalized assessment tools is clear.

Extracto: SSRF reduces mortality in patients with multiple rib fractures compared to conservative management, particularly in those with flail chest and in patients over 60 years of age. It also offers benefits in terms of pneumonia incidence and DMV for patients with flail chest. Early SSRF may significantly reduce HLOS and DMV. Significant factors associated with the procedure include a history of tuberculosis treatment, intraoperative blood loss > 500 mL, and surgical duration > 180 min. AI in the Health Sector

Fuente:Jmir Medical Education

Tipo de trabajo:Revisión sistemática

Extracto: Despite the broadening of search criteria to capture the evolving nature of AI in health care, the review underscores a significant gap in focused studies on the required competencies. Moreover, the review highlights the critical role of regulatory bodies such as the US Food and Drug Administration in facilitating the adoption of AI technologies by establishing trust and standardizing algorithms. Key areas were identified for developing competencies among health care professionals for the implementation of AI, including: AI fundamentals knowledge (more focused on assessing the accuracy, reliability, and validity of AI algorithms than on more technical abilities such as programming or mathematics), data analysis skills (including data acquisition, cleaning, visualization, management, and governance), and ethical and legal considerations. In an AI-enhanced health care landscape, the ability to humanize patient care through effective communication is paramount. This balance ensures that while AI streamlines tasks and potentially increases patient interaction time, health care professionals maintain a focus on compassionate care, thereby leveraging AI to enhance, rather than detract from, the patient experience. .
