ENTEROCOCCUS FAECALIS EFAA IN THERAPY-RESISTANT ENDONTIC INFECTIONS
Enterococcus faecalis implicated in persistent root canal infections has also been associated with infective endocarditis arising from certain invasive dental procedures. The aim of this study was to detect the presence of putative E. faecalis virulence factor, endocarditis antigen efaA in root canals of therapy-resistant endodontic infections using molecular technology.

POSTOPERATIVE CHEMORADIOTHERAPY IN ESOPHAGEAL SQUAMOUS CARCINOMA
Our study presented a relatively good local control of the disease by the addition of postoperative chemoradiotherapy to locally advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma with a mild, acute treatment-related toxicity, but this did not contribute a higher survival rate for this group of patients.

INTRACARDIAC MASSES IN NIGERIAN ADULTS-AN ECHOCARDIOGRAPHIC STUDY
Intra-cardiac masses are rare in this environment, and transthoracic echocardiography is valuable in the diagnosis and initial characterization of these masses, despite its limitations.  acceso_libre_20171204.png HEMOGLOBINA FANNIN-LUBBOCK I Y II, DOS VARIANTES QUE COMPARTEN UNA MUTACIÓN

A CLINICO-HEMATOLOGICAL APPRAISAL OF AGGRESSIVE PERIODONTITIS
Deducing the results of the study, we can conclude that a definite association between ABO blood groups and HLA phenotypes with periodontal diseases cannot be established. Leukocytic functional defects were found in subjects with aggressive periodontitis (AP). A statistically significant percentage of CD14+ CD16+ and CD45RA monocytes were found in AP subjects as compared to the controls.
