PHACOTRABECULECTOMY IN PRIMARY-ANGLE CLOSURE GLAUCOMA AND PRIMARY OPEN-ANGLE GLAUCOMA
Phacotrabeculectomy combines the management of cataract and glaucoma in 1 surgery. Surgical success rate and intraocular pressure (IOP) on the final visit was similar for primary-angle closure glaucoma (PACG) and primary open-angle glaucoma patients. However, mean postoperative IOP reduction was greater in PACG patients.
