MRI IN POTT'S PARAPLEGIA
Spinal cord/nerve root compression secondary to a tubercular epidural abscess leads to neurological deficit. Depending on the extent and duration of compression, the end result after treatment may vary from complete recovery to permanent deficit. There are several parameters on MRI which correlate with the severity of neurological impairment according to ASIA score and resolution of those features on treatment is also correlated well with neurological recovery.

BRAIN DEATH - CONSENSUS AND CONTROVERSIES
Brain death is an irreversible cessation of all functions of the brain and requires apneic coma with absence of elicitable brainstem reflexes for its certification. The concept was evolved following inventions of ventillators and pressor drugs wherein the cardiopulmonary function could be sustained even in the absence of brain function. Despite the wide acceptance, the concept is still unclear to many and differences continue on its justification and practice guidelines.

  ENDOSCOPIC ENDO-NASAL SURGERY FOR CRANIOPHARYNGIOMA
Endoscopic endonasal trans-sphenoid approach for craniopharyngioma is safe and effective alternative to trans-cranial approach in selected patients in expert hands with good endoscopic experience. Although this technique is associated with effective tumor removal and improved visual outcome, CSF leak, and endocrine dysfunctions remain a major challenge.
