IMPLICATIONS OF MASS SPECTROMETRIC ADVANCES FOR THE FIELD OF OCULAR LIPIDOMICS
The profiles of cholesterol and glycosphingolipid species are largely similar between the control and glaucomatous TM and AH. Differences in profiles need to be further studied using high resolution mass spectrometry and chemical modification.

RECENT ADVANCES IN AUTOIMMUNE PANCREATITIS
Autoimmune pancreatitis (AIP) is a peculiar type of pancreatitis that mimics pancreatic cancer. AIP is divided into type 1, a pancreatic manifestation of IgG4-related disease, and type 2 characterized by granulocytic epithelial lesion. As AIP responds dramatically to steroid therapy, accurate diagnosis is necessary in order to avoid unnecessary surgery.

CHEMICAL PLEURODESIS FOR SPONTANEOUS PNEUMOTHORAX
Chemical pleurodesis, a conservative treatment option for patient would not tolerate aggressive surgical intervention for pneumothorax, effectively ceases air-leakage and prevents recurrences by instilling sclerosing agents into the pleural cavity to achieve symphysis between the two layers of pleura. We evaluate indications, usage and complications of sclerosant for spontaneous pneumothorax.
