CHEMICAL PLEURODESIS FOR SPONTANEOUS PNEUMOTHORAX Chemical pleurodesis, a conservative treatment option for patient would not tolerate aggressive surgical intervention for pneumothorax, effectively ceases air-leakage and prevents recurrences by instilling sclerosing agents into the pleural cavity to achieve symphysis between the two layers of pleura. We evaluate indications, usage and complications of sclerosant for spontaneous pneumothorax. The article was published by El artículo fue publicado por
