La paroxetina actúa sobre varios sistemas de neurotransmisión, además del serotoninérgico, y esas acciones contribuyen a sus efectos antidepresivos y ansiolíticos. Por otra parte, además de los efectos beneficiosos sobre las manifestaciones clínicas, en los pacientes con comorbilidades es importante tener en cuenta la probabilidad de interacciones farmacológicas y efectos adversos.

RAPID TRANSTION FROM INHALED ILOPROST TO INHAED TREPROSTINIL IN PAH
We tested the feasibility and safely of the rapid transition from inhaled iloprost (6-9 times per day) to inhaled treprostinil (4 times per day) and therapy for pulmonary arterial hypertension. In 69 of 73 patients, treated at 9 institutions, the switch was well tolerated and demonstrated improved patient satisfaction, and, over 12 weeks, an improvement in exercise capacity, probably due to improved compliance.

Whether medication-adherence differs between patients on first-generation (FGAs) and second-generation antipsychotics (SGAs) is unresolved despite considerable research. Medication-adherence and persistence was compared between patients with schizophrenia on SGAs and FGAs over six months. Patients on SGAs, particularly olanzapine were more likely to persist with their treatment that those on FGAs.
