REAL WORLD INDICATIONS TO IVABRADINE TREATMENT IN CHRONIC SYSTOLIC HEART FAILURE
In a carefully managed population of patients with moderate, stable heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF), where optimal guidelines directed medical therapy (GDMT) is properly attained, the indication to ivabradine treatment is around 17%. This percentage represents that group of patients who, either do not tolerate beta-blockers or who have an uncontrolled heart rate despite the maximum tolerated dose of beta-blockers.
