POLIFENOIS DA DIETA: MECANISMOS PREVENTIVOS E TERAPÊUTICOS NO CANCRO

Os polifenois da dieta são capazes de activar mecanismos intracelulares que permitem conferir às células uma maior capacidade de resistir aos processos de carcinogenese, pelo que podem ser compostos com um potencial uso na terapêutica de prevenção do cancro.
