En este estudio por primera vez se muestra que el tocoferol succinato es un potente inhibidor de la hGSTO1-1.

INHIBICION DE LA GLUTATION S-TRANSFERASA OMEGA POR TOCOFEROL SUCCINATO

El tocoferol succinato es un potente inhibidor de la hGSTO 1-1. Esta investigación claramente indica que se trata de un compuesto sumamente efectivo y no tóxico para el ser humano. Los niveles de expresión de estas enzimas pueden tener significado biológico e implicaciones clínicas. Si estos inhibidores de la hGSTO1-1 resultan ser efectivos in vivo deberían realizarse más investigaciones en este contexto.
