EXPRESIÓN ANORMAL DEL SISTEMA NKB/NK3 EN LEIOMIOMAS UTERINOS

El miometrio normal de la mujer expresa el receptor NK3 así como el péptido NKB, contribuyendo a la regulación normal de este órgano, mientras que en los miomas el sistema NK3R/NKB está aumentado, pudiendo contribuir a las menorragias que experimentan frecuentemente las mujeres sintomáticas así como a la proliferación tumoral.
