IMPORTANCIA DE LA CAPACIDAD DETOXIFICADORA DEL INTESTINO EN LA INSUFICIENCIA HEPATICA
En la insuficiencia hepática otros tejidos podrían reemplazar al hígado, al menos en parte, en su función detoxificadora. Nuestro estudio provee evidencias en favor de un papel relevante del yeyuno en la metabolización y posterior excreción a la luz intestinal de xenobióticos potencialmente tóxicos.
