O PERFIL DE CITOCINAS ASSOCIADO COM ESQUISTOSSOMOSE CRÔNICA HUMANA

Tanto o perfil de citocinas em células mononucleares do sangue periférico dos pacientes avaliados em graus de fibrose, bem como do perfil de citocinas daqueles que evoluíram com progressão de fibrose na segunda avaliação sugerem que as citocinas tipo 2 são mediadoras das etapas iniciais da fibrose hepática na esquistossomose.
