El trabajo de investigación clínica realizado sobre más de 10.000 hombres en los que se evaluó su calidad seminal, demuestra una disminución en los valores de los parámetros espermáticos con la edad, así como con ciertas condiciones clínicas y estilos de

EL POTENCIAL FÉRTIL DEL HOMBRE DISMINUYE CON SU EDAD, ASÍ COMO CON LA OBESIDAD, EL CONSUMO DE ALCOHOL Y EL TABAQUISMO.

El incremento de la edad del hombre es un factor que, per se, afecta negativamente la calidad espermática. Además, la obesidad contribuye de forma importante al daño causado por la edad. El consumo de alcohol y el tabaquismo tienen un efecto negativo adicional al de la edad, aunque menor que el de la obesidad. Estos hallazgos son muy relevantes teniendo en cuenta la tendencia global a la postergación de la paternidad, el aumento en la obesidad y en el consumo de alcohol y tabaco.
