RADIOFREQUENCY IN INFERIOR TURBINATE HYPERTROPHY
RADIOFREQUENCY IN TREATMENT OF ALLERGIC INFERIOR TURBINATE HYPERTROPHY

Radiofrequency volumetric tissue reduction is safe and effective treatment for nasal obstruction secondary to allergic inferior turbinate hypertrophy refractory to medical treatment. Radio-frequency is delivered deep inside turbinate preserving its surface. Healing process induces submucosal fibrosis leading to tissue volume reduction that relieves nasal obstruction and other allergic symptoms.
