Vinod Gauttam describes for SIIC the most significant aspects of his article describe para SIIC los aspectos relevantes de su artículo DEVELOPMENT OF PHOSPHOLIPID VESICLE ENTRAPPED POLYHERBAL ANTI-DIABETIC FORMULATION Several herbal extracts and phytoconstituents, despite having excellent bioactivity in vitro demonstrate less or no in vivo actions due to their poor lipid solubility. Phospholipids vesicles for the herbal preparations may produce better bioavailability and actions than the conventional phyto molecules or botanical extracts. In present study, we scientifically validated this hypothesis. Optimized combination (OC) of herbal extracts was encapsulated in phospholipids based vesicle system; this formulation at 500 mg/kg p.o. dose had shown significant antidiabetic effects in comparison to OC at 1 000 mg/kg p.o. in experimentally-induced diabetes.
