Lingual Ectopic Thyroid is a rare developmental anomaly, its position and size may cause obstruction of laryngeal pathway leading to ventilation and intubation difficulties with a potential dramatic risk of hemorrhage during attempts of intubation. We report successful management of a patient with Lingual Thyroid for appendectomy under general anaesthesia.
