Introducción
The chronic use of anti-tuberculosis drugs causes several adverse reactions such as peripheral neuropathy, gastrointestinal disorders, cutaneous reactions, and hepatotoxicity. These adverse reaction can cause detrimental effects on the patient as morbidity and poor treatment outcomes. This also can contribute with the non adhesion to the treatment contributing to increase of resistance to first-line anti-tuberculosis drugs
Liver injury due to anti-tuberculosis drugs is an important problem in the treatment of the disease. Do you reccomend the monitoring of liver enzymes during the treatment of the disease
