DIAGNÓSTICO MOLECULAR DA NEUROCISTICERCOSE

Os métodos atualmente disponíveis para o diagnóstico da neurocisticercose sofrem por alto custo (quando baseados em imagem) ou por reduzida especificidade ou sensibilidade (testes imunológicos). Pela primeira vez, apresentamos um teste molecular que permite o diagnóstico da neurocisticercose, com alta sensibilidade e alta especificidade.
