The pleotropic effect of sitagliptin.
SITAGLIPTIN ON BLOOD PRESSURE IN PATIENTS WITH TYPE 2 DIABETES MELLITUS

The addition of sitagliptin produced a trend of blood pressure lowering effects and decreased the glomerular filtration rate and HbA1c in diabetic patients using an angiotensin II receptor blocker, especially in those with chronic kidney disease.

Efectos Pleiotrópicos de la Sitagliptina.
La Sitagliptina y la Presión Arterial en Pacientes con Diabetes Tipo 2

El agregado de sitagliptina tiende a reducir la presión arterial, y disminuye el índice de filtrado glomerular y los niveles de hemoglobina glucosilada en pacientes diabéticos tratados con bloqueantes de los receptores de angiotensina II, especialmente en aquellos con enfermedad renal crónica.
