Screening Rates and Practices in Primary Care
ADOLESCENT SUBSTANCE USE

The majority of respondents used ineffective screening practices for adolescent substance use. Further physician training is recommended to encourage the use of developmentally appropriate screening tools and interventions for adolescents.
