FUZI total alkaloid in antidepressant action

Fuzi (Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata) is frequently prescribed as treatment for depression in Chinese medicine clinical practice. Recent studies in vivo and vitro have shown that components of Fuzi have an antidepressant-like effect. Therefore, we will review the antidepressant effect of Fuzi total alkaloid in this paper.
