ULTRASONOGRAPHY FOR CERVICAL LYMPHADENOPATHY IN CHILDREN

On basis of various parameters, it has been observed that ultrasonography appears to be sensitive and specific for the diagnosis of tuberculosis as compared to lymphoma or matastasis and it may be used as a screening test to evaluate various etiologies for cervical lymphadenopathy.
