Ashraf Soliman describes for SIIC the most significant aspects of his article describe para SIIC los aspectos relevantes de su artículo Clinical , Biochemical and Radiological manifestations of vitamin D deficiency in newborns NEONATAL VITAMIN D DEFICIENCY RICKETS Newborns with severe VDD presented with hypocalcemia and increased alkaline phosphatase (ALP) and PTH compared to older infants with VDD. Serum calcium levels were correlated significantly with 25OH vitamin D and Mg concentrations. Radiological manifestations included metaphyseal band of lucency (osteopenia) within distal radius, femur, and/or tibia with mild cupping. The article was published by El artículo fue publicado por
