In perichondrially attached diced conchal cartilage, the graft stays in one piece by the underlying soft tissue, and has the capacity to take any form, provide a solid structure, be sutured into place, and even serve as a cover in patients with thin nasal skin; there is also no resorption, even a minimal growth is size.
