Acta Paediatrica
Acta Pædiatrica is a monthly
journal which publishes papers in English, covering both clinical and
experimental research, in all fields of paediatrics including
developmental physiology.
The journal was founded in 1921 by a group of Swedish paediatricians.
Since 1990 the journal has been published monthly. The title of the
journal was originally Acta Pædiatrica. In 1965 |
Scandinavica was added in order to
emphasize that the journal was intended to be a forum mainly for
paediatric research in the Nordic countries. In 1991 Scandinavica was,
however, omitted as Acta Pædiatrica has become a truly international
journal with contributions from all over the world.
The journal is owned by a foundation of Swedish paediatricians and
governed by a board of trustees elected by the foundation. |
