Introducción:
Se describió que el nilotinib es un fármaco activo en los casos de recaída o de formas resistentes de leucemia linfoblástica aguda con cromosoma Filadelfia positivo, con una actividad entre 20 y 50 veces mayor que la del imatinib. El nilotinib parece eficaz incluso en líneas celulares resistentes al imatinib con diversas mutaciones de los dominios ABL de la tirosincinasa.
